Hunter King gushed over her supportive fiancé Chris Copier and their wedding plans in a new interview

The actress spoke to Just Jared in an article published Thursday, Dec. 18

King announced her engagement to Copier in October 2024

Hunter King is getting ready to tie the knot!

Speaking in a new interview with Just Jared, published Thursday, Dec. 18, the actress, 32, opened up about her fiancé Chris Copier, as well as their wedding plans.

"The big day is coming up! We’re still finishing up some of the planning, but I’m just so excited to marry the love of my life,” she said. “He is my biggest supporter and cheerleader, and I couldn’t ask for a better teammate to do life with.”

The Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story added, “Icing on the cake is getting to say what I do in Italy with our closest friends and family.”

King announced her engagement to Copier in October 2024.

In the romantic video, the couple shared sweet kisses while walking their dogs on the sand.

Copier then got down on one knee, prompting King to jump up and down in excitement.

She then got down on her knees before the couple continued their romantic embrace.

“Best day of my life🤍 @chriscope88 I can’t wait to marry your ass💍,” she added in her caption.

Speaking about the proposal the following month, King said on Today with Hoda & Jenna, “He took me to Santa Barbara, and we rented bikes with our two puppies, rode up and down the coast and then we went to the beach and he said, ‘Let’s take some photos.’”

She added, "And went down on one knee I just started jumping up and down. I blacked out and I think I said, ‘Are you sure, are you sure, are you sure?’ And he’s like, ‘You need to say yes so I can give you your ring.’ "

King met Copier on the set of Give Me Your Eyes in early 2022.

"He was my first AD (assistant director) and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s cute.’ I had to talk to him," she said.

Meanwhile in November last year, King also spoke to PEOPLE at the red carpet premiere of her Hallmark movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, about her upcoming wedding.

"We haven't set a wedding date, but we're hoping to get married next year if we can find the right venue," she said at the time. "So maybe, yeah, maybe just a little wedding."

"We haven't really had any time to wedding plan yet," she added.
