- West Wilson spoke about his and Amanda Batula's romance on his podcast Monday.
- He clarified the timeline of their relationship, stating "everyone was single" when they started dating.
- Wilson also addressed the online hate he and Batula, specifically, have received.
West Wilson wants to make things very clear when it comes to the timeline of his relationship with *Summer House* costar Amanda Batula.
On Monday's episode of his *Show Me Something* podcast, Wilson, 31, chatted with cohost Sophie Cunningham about the "actual timeline" of his romance with Batula, 34, and the false narratives surrounding the entire situation.
*Summer House* fandom freaked out when Wilson and Batula confirmed they were dating with a joint statement on March 31, namely because Wilson not only dated Batula's good friend Ciara Miller but was close to Kyle Cooke, to whom Batula had been married for four years before they announced their split in January.
"That’s one thing I would like to be *very* clear about: there was no overlap," he clarified on *Show Me Something*. "I know there’s a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen. Everyone was single."
Wilson went on to say that he and Batula realized things were getting "serious" between them in February, "and there's not a whole lot more to it than that."
He told Cunningham that he's sent texts to many of his *Summer House *castmates amid the scandal, with some being left unanswered.
"That's the hardest part of this whole situation is my actions have hurt people that I care about, but the reunion is coming up and I can give those apologies face-to-face and also clear up all of the crazy s--- that's been on the internet," Wilson said.
The reunion is scheduled to tape later this month.
'Summer House' star Ciara Miller breaks silence on 'major mindf---' of Amanda and West's relationship

Wilson also admitted that it's been a tough time amid online speculation about him and Batula, and that he's trying to "take it a day at a time and stay off [his] phone."
"The internet is a very scary place to be," he said. "Amanda has taken a big brunt of all of this too, which I just wish if people had s--- to talk they could deliver it to me."
Wilson called out a specific "inappropriate" and "untrue" comment from a troll who called Batula a "home-wrecking whore," as he reiterated their relationship started after her separation from Cooke.
Cooke, 43, himself defended his estranged wife to "street journalist" Adam Glyn on April 1, saying that he was "more concerned" about Batula than his own feelings. "I'm obviously frustrated. I mean, we have a new show coming out, and there's so much that gets unpacked there," Cooke said. "I'm obviously disappointed in her... but just hearing her and hearing how unwell she is, and [her] dark thoughts, I just ask people to just, maybe, pull off the gas a little on the cyberbullying and hate."
In their joint statement last month, Wilson and Batula shared: "We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."
They continued, "We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."

Cooke reacted to the moment on Threads Saturday, sharing that he “was not prepared to see that" on the *Summer House* chain. “And that. And that 🤢,” he added.
Miller, for her part, shared her thoughts on Wilson and Batula's relationship in a *Glamour* interview published before the kiss cam moment on Friday. She said she felt "disregarded in such a disrespectful way" after supporting Batula as her marriage to Cooke fell apart on the latest season of *Summer House*.
"It's one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors," Miller, 30, told the outlet. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It's a major mindf---."
